End of Term Celebrations

End of Term Celebrations

As the academic year comes to an end we are spending time reflecting on how the children leaving us to go to new schools have developed and grown. On Tuesday 16th at 2pm and Thursday 18th July at 2pm we will be holding Achievement Celebrations. We focus on this with parents and children together.

On the last day of school, Friday 19th at 9.30, the party will continue with our UNICEF Celebration Day. This is a chance to spend time talking with other children and parents whilst taking part in fun activities which demonstrate the Rights of Children. We have been working all year to explore the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Children and hope this will stay with the children throughout their time in school and beyond.
There will be dancing, face painting, a texture walk and other games to play. You can bring food to add to the festivities but please be aware that it must not contain nuts, fish or citrus fruit as we have children who are allergic to these foods. After this, around 11.30 you will be able to take your child home but please remember to let your child’s key worker know.

One more thing is to wish you all a wonderful summer and to thank you for being friendly,  active and supportive parents working with Lillian de Lissa Nursery School.
